More than 100 students will be participating in more than three dozen pieces at the annual �鶹avӳ����ý Fringe Festival, “The Cosmos,” April 11-14 in and around �鶹avӳ����ý’s Porter Theatre and at the Community Arts Workshop, 631 Garden Street. The Fringe, which has steadily grown since the �鶹avӳ����ý Theater Arts Department created it in 2005, is a smorgasbord of plays, dances, films, poetry and art installations. “We also have a pod of staged readings of plays and poetry written by the Writing for Performance class, and a senior project by Sean McElrath,” says Hunter Stilwell, Fringe artistic co-director.

“I am most excited to see original work by the students,” says artistic co-director Alyssa Walsh. “It’s always fun to see students in various departments come together to make art. As a theatre major, I love getting the opportunity to work with students outside the department, and seeing everyone come together to create this amazing, fun weekend.”
